CARLYN BURCZYK
bio
Sparked by a fascination with adventure and "self-discovery", I eventually was led to find yoga. This is where I discovered a love for movement and healing. When living in NY, I built this love for yoga into a business and expanded my yoga studio to three locations even amongst a global shutdown during the pandemic. I moved to Florida in 2022 with a focus on business consulting and design for holistic companies, individualized and group classes, and vibrational sound therapy. I continue to share passions for healing and personal growth through my unique blend of movement and marketing. With a deep-rooted passion for health and wellness, I am committed to using the skills I have to enrich our community, fostering spaces for creativity and growth where individuals can connect, heal, and thrive together.👏 Certifications

SARAH DIMATTEO
bio
BIO: Sarah discovered yoga in her living room using a streaming service. Having spent a lifetime struggling with weight, health, and body image issues, she never had the courage to step foot in a studio. Through her meditation and personal practice, a love for the deep inner connection yoga offers was immediately born. While studying to become a Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach, she realized clients who shared her fear of joining group classes could benefit from knowing about the beautiful healing a yoga practice can bring. This brought her to Kula Yoga Shala in Jupiter, where she completed 200 hr yoga teacher training. She went on to discover the powerful benefits of Reiki, becoming certified as a Level I & II practitioner. Later, she trained to teach Beginner and Intermediate Core Mat Power Pilates. She’s currently pursuing advanced Mat Pilates Teacher Training and completing 500 hr Yoga Teacher Training. It was a long held dream to work in the world of Healing Arts so when the opportunity came to step into the big shoes of the owner of Nova Luna, it felt like the Universe sending a strong message. After 25 years in corporate business leadership, she is now fully dedicated to supporting and growing the amazing community at Nova Luna and looking forward to learning from the talented team here. When she is not working, she can be found enjoying the antics of five sons, a husband, two dogs, and a cat she adores or volunteering as a founding board member of Maddie’s Fight Foundation, a family run non-profit that helps children battling cancer. Foot Bath
DETOX Foot Bath Detox Therapy is a popular alternative wellness treatment that involves soaking the feet in warm, ionized water to promote the removal of toxins from the body. The process is believed to stimulate the body's natural detoxification pathways by utilizing negatively charged ions in the water, which are thought to bind to and help draw out positively charged toxins. Proponents claim that this therapy can improve overall health by reducing inflammation, boosting circulation, enhancing energy levels, and even alleviating stress. While scientific evidence on the effectiveness of foot bath detox therapy is limited, many users report feeling relaxed and rejuvenated after the treatment. The color changes in the water during the session are often interpreted as visible signs of detoxification, though these effects may also be linked to other factors like oxidation or impurities in the water itself. For those interested in a gentle and relaxing wellness practice, foot bath detox therapy is often marketed as a holistic option to support well-being and balance in the body. add ons

Infrared PEMF
Therapy Infrared PEMF Therapy is a cutting-edge wellness treatment that utilizes far-infrared heat technology to promote healing and relaxation. The therapy involves lying on a bio mat embedded with infrared heating elements, which emit far-infrared rays that penetrate deeply into the body. This process helps increase circulation, reduce inflammation, and relieve pain by relaxing muscles and tissues at a cellular level. The mats often incorporate materials like amethyst crystals, which are believed to enhance the therapeutic effects by emitting negative ions, further boosting the body’s natural healing processes. Infrared bio mat therapy is commonly used for pain management, detoxification, stress relief, and improved sleep quality. This non-invasive treatment can be a powerful complement to conventional therapies, providing holistic benefits through the soothing warmth of infrared heat. Many people find it beneficial for both physical ailments and mental wellness, making it a versatile therapy for overall health. Add ons

Carmen Torbus
Gentle/Yin Yoga Teacher Internal Family Systems Therapy Read More
BIO: Carmen is an Internal Family Systems Therapy practitioner, life coach and trauma-informed yoga teacher with a passion for interweaving possibility and potential into her teachings. Her spirit of possibility exudes through her voice and energy. Carmen found yoga in 2016 and fell in love with the inner strength her yoga practice gave her. In her words, "I fell in love with the relationship I developed with my yoga mat… it has zero judgment and accepts me just as I am, every single time I roll it out. I fell in love with learning challenging poses and I fell in love with the inner knowing that my practice most days is less about the challenging pose and more about honoring my body, connecting to my breath and facing the challenges in my mind. I fell in love with savasana (that end of practice awesomeness where you lay on your back and melt into pure bliss) and integrating yogic principles in my life on and off the mat." Yoga has empowered her in the most unexpected ways and she knew she wanted to share that with others. In 2019, she completed 200 hour yoga teacher training and began teaching in January 2020. She also holds certifications in meditation, reiki level I & II, somatic embodiment and regulation strategies, trauma informed yoga, Brilliance Coaching, Internal Family Systems Level I and she is a published artist and author. Sharing her love for the practice and the ripple effect of transformational healing it has created fills her spirit. She is truly honored to share in and guide your practice. |
